Dental Screening Initiative
The Dental Screening Initiative brings basic oral health screening and preventive education into communities where routine dental care is out of reach.
It is delivered with volunteer dental professionals and healthcare partners rather than by Above & Beyond alone.

Dental Screenings
Community screening events that identify oral health needs early and connect families with follow-up care where it is available.
Preventive Education
Age-appropriate sessions on brushing, nutrition and prevention, delivered in schools and community settings.
Community Outreach
Screenings are hosted alongside schools, clinics and community organisations so families already know and trust the setting.
Volunteer Dental Professionals
Dentists, hygienists, dental students and assistants are invited to volunteer clinical time. A provider registration pathway is being developed.
Healthcare Partnerships
We seek partnerships with clinics, hospitals, dental associations and health organisations in Ghana and the DMV region.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsors fund supplies, equipment, transport and venue costs for screening events.
